Our Next W 74th Multi-Household Yard Sale

April 22, 2023. Our first ever. And it was a blast!
About 15 households participated. (Thanks for joining the big experiment!) By 8am buyers were circling, so clearly our advance promotions were effective. By about 2pm folks were closed and counting their earnings.
Feedback was great!
Westport Heights residents beyond W 74th emailed, saying they had a great time mingling with neighbors they hadn’t met yet. Sellers reported being pleased with the number of buyers. And buyers were excited to get some really great deals…including vintage Barbies, an outboard motor, a drum set, toys, books, musical instruments…the list goes on.
So it’s now an annual thing!
So from now on, we’ll celebrate Earth Day with our W74th multi-household Yard Sale! The volunteer organizers will flyer everyone’s house (W74th from Airport to Flight) with an early sign-up notice. We’ll issue a couple reminders in the weeks before. Then solicit info about what you’re planning to sell (for promotions).
